This Week on My Feed
Claude at work, Deel paying in crypto, Kalshi + some other things I found interesting
Hey everyone — I’m writing this newsletter from the airport, I’m flying back to NYC today, where I hear the weather is very cold. My news feed did not disappoint this week, and I also have some ideas for what I could write about next. I’m not sure if it’s end-of-year adrenaline from trying to finish every checklist, or just having excess time after one too many international flights — but here we are.
Whenever I travel I think of this post from Bryan Johnson. Also, getting sick last time reminded me to get 8 hours of sleep, take my vitamins and eat min 2 proper meals when traveling.
Stuff I found interesting:
Kalshi announces another funding round. More Kalshi:
The big risk of making everything tradable is insider trading. Someone is apparently winning big by betting on Google search results…
Kalshi co-founder Luana Lopes Lara becomes become the youngest ever female self-made billionaire.
Anthropic’s report on how its employees are using AI.
“Anthropic engineers and researchers use Claude most often for fixing code errors and learning about the codebase. Debugging and code understanding are the most common uses“
“Employees self-report using Claude in 60% of their work and achieving a 50% productivity boost, a 2-3x increase from this time last year.”
“Claude is now the first stop for questions that used to go to colleagues—some report fewer mentorship and collaboration opportunities as a result. (“I like working with people and it’s sad that I ‘need’ them less now… More junior people don’t come to me with questions as often.”)“
Justin Bieber submitting UI/UX improvements to Apple on X. I’m not the biggest iMessage user, but hopefully Apple takes his feedback seriously.
a16z new media team made a rockstar hire. Congrats Elena!
I didn’t know you could get paid with Crypto on Deel — the platform to hire remote workers. Also they recently hired a Head of Crypto!
One of the best posts I read on Crypto Trends for 2026. If I had to pick one slide:
Eclipse Marketing is making fun that the chain is literally down and token is going to 0.
Exactly how I feel about this (not gonna lie, I am laughing at these):
Thats all for this week. Can’t believe there is just 25 days to 2026. See you on the next one!
